50 Shades of Orange

Here’s something we hear all the time: “Orange lipstick doesn’t work for me!”

Not true.

Why you need to dump red and move onto orangeHaven’t you heard? Orange is the new red (just kidding, the classic red never goes out of style, but more on that next time). Basically, orange is so IN right now, and we know you can rock it. It can be a scary color for some, but don’t worry. We’ll help you find the correct shade 🙂

  • If you have fair skin, opt for an orange with a peachy-coral undertone. Since most fair-skinned gals have a pinkish complexion, the coral can help to bring warmth to the face without washing you out. Who says you can’t wear orange?

  • If you have light skin, try a blood orange shade. It will help brighten and warm up your complexion. You can definitely rock the corals too, but feel free to go a bit bolder.

  • If you have medium skin, we dare you to go bold and bright! Your best shade will be a rich red-orange, but you can really go crazy on the vibrant colors. Hints of yellow in the lipstick can help bring out the warmth of your complexion as well.

  • If you have deeper skin, your look will be perfectly complemented with a range of orange shades. We suggest pumpkin hues and fearless colors. Try to avoid pastel oranges, as those may wash you out.

The Bottom Line: Wear whatever you want as long as you’re confident wearing it.
