Strobing 101 #ShimmerGoddess

Strobing is a magical makeup technique because

  1. it’s perfect for summer when you don’t want a pound of makeup on your face
  2. the goal is to get a radiant, youthful, natural glow
  3. it’s easier than contouring with ten different products
  4. and you essentially become a shimmering, flawless goddess 💁

You’re about to turn heads, and here’s how:

(There’s really only two steps)

Step 1 – Apply a radiant base.

A makeup base is essential in K-beauty because skin is everything. A starter, or makeup base, will instantly brighten up your face and make you look more awake and glowy.

The new Pony Effect Radiance Glow Hydrating Starter is your youth in a bottle because it’ll give you a candle-lit glow without noticeable shimmer. It brightens and hydrates your skin while simultaneously acting as a primer ✨

Note that instant dewy glow ❤️

Step 2: Add highlighter to the highest parts of your face.

A powder or cream works here. You’ll want to apply to areas that sunlight will naturally hit- top of the cheekbones, above the brows, on the brow bone, bridge of the nose, cupid’s bow, and chin. Basically a ‘C’ by the your temples and a line down the center of your face 😉

Cream: The Pony Effect Strobing Luminizer has a pearl base, which will give your skin a gorgeous, champagne glow. Seriously, this shimmer is just so fine and natural~

Powder: If you want that extra pop, add some powder on top of your cream highlight- guarantee to make you shine like a diamond 💎

Extra: Blush & Shading

These will add a little flush of color back into your face and help define your features a bit more.

For blush, add a touch along the apples of your cheek and sweep it out towards your hairline.

For shading, lightly add a bit in the hallows of your cheek and under your chin for some added definition.

Now go out there and shine like the star that you are ⭐️
